Heat-treated wood is a new product for several applications in which the moisture-related changes in dimensions of the wood, decay resistance of wood or the traditional solutions based on the use of wood have been regarded to be problematic due to environmental values.

Heat-treated wood is admirably suitable for application in outdoors facilities as flooring material and external cladding, indoors as flooring and panelling material, in wet facilities (e.g. sauna benches, panelling), furniture and as the raw material for parquet flooring.
